The level of grooming necessary for your dog will largely depend on what kind of coat they have
If they’re a long-haired breed, they’ll likely have different needs to one that has very short, smooth fur
Some dogs also shed profusely all year round while others (often known as hypoallergenic breeds) won’t shed much at all
Dogs typically lose their winter coats in the spring, when it is replaced by a shorter, lighter one for summer. In the autumn, this cycle is reversed, as the summer coat is shed to make room for heavy protective fur for winter. During these times of shedding, you’ll likely need to spend more time grooming them to keep it under control. Some dogs can shed all year round though and will require daily brushing to keep them and your home free from pesky loose hairs
It’s a well-known fact that dogs have their own specific smell that often becomes more intense when they’re wet or have been outdoors for a walk. It can be tempting to wash them all the time to get rid of the odour, but bathing should be kept to a minimum. That’s because washing your dog’s fur too often can strip it of its natural oils and also irritate their skin
Note: I do not offer "one off" grooms, I will ensure my services are used correctly, with the best intention and welfare of your dog and not for financial gain through promotions or discounts

Puppy Package
1ST VISIT
(Between 12-15 weeks of age)
Once fully vaccinated he/she can come in for an introduction session which lasts about half an hour. During this time, he/she will meet me and experience the sights, sounds and smells of the salon. They will have gentle handling on the grooming table where they will have their face, ears and feet touched in a positive manner and experience gentle brushing. I can also trim nails at this stage. Obviously lots of cuddles and praise too!
2ND VISIT
(Between 16-18 weeks of age)
This second visit lasts about 1 hour and your puppy can have a bath and be dried in addition to ear and feet care with added cuddles and praise. Your puppy may also need some hair trimming from around their eyes at this stage
3RD VISIT
(From 19 weeks of age)
Now that your puppy is happy and relaxed in the grooming salon, they can come in for a full groom where I would carry out some trimming of the coat in addition to ear and feet care and more free cuddles and praise
